Hi Stan and Torsten

Hey stan , did you cry ???
Any orange clothing involved in your embarrasment?

I love the way you can see the end of the pier thru the bar .
Gives you a nice idea of the surroundings.

Man , would I like to sit at the end of that dock!
It just stopped raining softly , ....now it's pouring!

Had a nice encounter driving to work this morning :-( , some nut driving 100km/h at a roadcrossing where 50km/h was allowed, near miss , BIG breaktest I can tell you, a lott of schreeching and skitmarks!!!

Thanks for your concern for us.

Tomorrow is a 100% chance of rain and the next day 90%- - and we are a couple hundred miles from the Gulf of Mexico. They are going to really catch it on the Gulf coast. Real concerns about flooding in New Orleans.

The reports from the Cayman Islands are really bad and it has been under reported by the press.

Have some Starbucks coffee, batten down the hatches and get ready to ride the storm out.

John

John, we have wind warnings tomorrow of 40-60mph with gusts to 75mph - then in the evening we are to expect sustained winds of 75mph. We're worried here in Anniston.

At least it looks calm in Bonaire! :-)

Indeed, it looks good to see the familiar images again! Today is my last day off, but the weather is terrible: wind, rain, hail, etc. at times it gets so dark, I need to put on some lights.

Martine - I was just watching that - they have the Virgin Islands and PR under hurricane watch!!! St. John is one of my favorite islands - the last hurricane to hit there did major damage - the water is not as much of a problem - since the whole island is a mountain -its the winds that get them.

Good morning, all.
And welcome to Alison!

I, too, share everyone's concern for the South. Looks like everywhere down there is going to get a piece of this one. Been to New Orleans twice. Hate to think of it inundated with 8 to 12 inches of sea water, as the mayor said was a possibility. All of you down there have my prayers for safety.

Thanks, Jake, for the repair, and the new angle on the beachbar cam.

I see that things are getting back to normal, so its time for me to get to work.

Hurricanes are quite in numbers this year :o(
I just read the meteo alert too... This one seems to go north-westward. Sad, very, very sad. Most of the west Indies belt islands seemed to have escaped of this one... Just had to bear a tropical storm.

However - Wally, Eva and Elvira have the storm coming right toward them after it land - they are predicting that it will get the NC mountain this weekend - and they are in the path from the gulf coast to the NC mountain!!! All of you guys please hang on tight and stay dry - it will be wet and windy!!!

Hola Everyone!

It is starting to rain here in Georgia, later on we will get more rain and wind.

Kathy, hope you will be ok!
Concerned about the other Alabama BT'ers.
Haven't talk to Mr. Doyle but he might only get rain and wind.

Puerto Rico might get hit w/another storm. Spoke with Rafa this am and they didn't go to work. He said it was raining.

Take care guys, :-) :-)

LOL Kathy, glad you clarified yourself...I was looking to see if he had a large plastic cuda hidden somewhere! A couple years ago, someone brought the head of a cuda in front of the reefcam...gave us all quite a bit of excitement!

Wow, Kathy, this is a catch. I keep it for the up dated "reef cam crotters" galery...
Well folks, time to go to bed. See you tomorrow for breakfast. Good night gand, and hang on in the south...

My gosh, I'm so in and out of here (translate, running around like a chicken with my head cut off!) I didn't even notice the fellow was free-diving!

BTW, thanks for the well wishes, everyone. :-)
It's not started yet but a little wind (10-20mph) and a gentle rain.

Isn't the guy above a snorkeler? If so, that's pretty good considering the ReefCam's at 60 feet...

Nice 'cuda!

Jake

LaDonna: bragger! :-) I'm lucky if I can get down to 20 feet free diving. Right now I am so out of shape I refuse to go diving at all. Need to work on that.

Good to see people are actually occupying the beach chairs--or, in some cases, just the beach. But there are people there! 1 Lots of people all over the place. 2 In and out of the water 3 and even fishies under the water 4

In the meantime, it rains here, but nothing like what the south is going to get.
