A wet morning here in Georgia.

A visit from Frances with wind and rain.

So enjoy some Starbucks coffee.

Morning All,

Annie, have a great trip and a safe flight!

Had a great weekend, Mr. D and I went riding on his bike all over on Saturday and Sunday.

Kathy, went by Anniston. Maybe we can meet sometime that I am in Alabama.

Just like John says, it is raining here alot and will continue - oh well!!

Hopefully will Diana today!

Have a wonderful week and remember to smile :-)

Good Morning B/T-er's and all, Has the surf been affected by the hurricanes in the area? We noticed that the viz is better on the reefcam but nobody has said anything about the size of the surf or any surge. Seven and a wakeup and we will be there to check it out ourselves. Hope this note finds everyone in good spirits and health. Be seeing you soon......

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of page Link to this message  By Linda Richter - NetTech (Moderator - Post #1951) on Tuesday, September 7, 2004 - 10:06 am:     Edit PostPrint Post

Algea got scrubbed off the ReefCam lens on Sunday so that explains the better vis. Jake said it was much easier at the new depth. The algea is quite soft and does not appear to be the encrusting kind that you need to scrape at with your finger nail.

No extra surge or waves. Actually yesterday my daughter went on a snorkel trip to Oil Slick Leap and Caren said it was flat. A great day for her to take in 8 kids. We asked our daughter if she did the leap or took the ladder. She rolled her eyes and said "the laaaadder". Well, of course we should have known that.

Anyway my guess at this point is that we might see some rain from the edges of Ivan Wednesday, or we might just have all our tradewinds sucked away so we have dead calm weather. I haven't seen or heard any weather warnings here yet.
