Hi Annie, Kathy and Torsten - great capture of the fishies!!! A TRIPLE!!!!

Kathy - go to your profile and click on upgrade membership link underneath the main section with all of your info - that should let you upgrade. I know I did that before I went on my first Bonaire trip - so I could get to the archives!!!

I think there's something out there spooking the fish. lol

Barbara - GREAT NEWS on the luggage!!!

I have leave for a bit - got a hair appointment and then one with a house repairman!!! Have major problems with a leak that is causing my kitchen floor to rot!!! Not looking forward to having my kitchen ripped up to fix - it behind cabinets and a wall!!!YUCK!!!

Kathy - click on edit profile and look at the very bottom of the page in very small letter it states upgrade membership - its in between edit profile and logout. Hope this helps.

Kathy, Edit Profile is "hiding" on the webcams page, not here (I was curious too and had to search myself). I always forget they're separate.

Still stumped and can't figure this out. At the bottom of the page, I can click on the profile icon and it takes me into my profile after I login. Once I'm in there I can change other parts of my profile, but there is not an option anywhere to upgrade. If I go to the main webcam page, and try to click on membership login - it won't accept my username and password. I even went back and changed my password. Upgrade membership still eludes. me

Kathy, your profile information and the BonaireWebCams Membership are two different functions/environments. Did you become a member of BonaireWebCams i.e., pay the money for one of the three types of memberships?

Cynde, when I registered I selected the free membership, and set up a profile for the BT boards. All I'm wanting to do is upgrade my membership to Gold/$24.95 a year, to support the cams and be able to look back in the archives. Everything everyone is telling me to do doesn't work for me. wah Example, if I go to http://www.bonairewebcams.com/ as Lisa suggested I do not see anything that says Member Options. I see member login, and member information, and member login does not accept the username and password that I use to edit my profile! ack! Sorry I'm taking up so much space!

Edit Profile is on the main bonaire webcam page.

Actually, upgrade membership is also at the bottom of that page next to edit profile. Annie B.

Time for a new thread someone please. For the newbies. It is better to keep the threads to a maximum of 50 posts. It helps those with slow connections, and also helps with the bandwidth.

Go to that webpage. Select Membership Info. Partway down that page, you'll see "Register Now" in blue. Click on that, and you'll be on your way.

then you can see the 'Member Option' on the left

Kathy, I think the problem may be that the registration for the free (or paid) BonaireWebCam Membership is going to be a different registration than Bonaire Talk. The two environments don't overlap. Did you use the same user name and password for both?

Actually, I think some people are seeing the "logged in" page and giving instructions from what they see on that page, which is not what is seen by people who have not signed in. If what Kathy wants is access to the archives by signing up for membership to the Bonaire Webcams, my instructions should work.

Torsten - when I try to login, I get this:

Errors have been detected in your request:
- The password you provided and/or the user name are incorrect.

Please correct the above errors and resubmit your request.

Annette - we must have different screens (because of membership levels?)or something on that main webcam page, because it does not have those options for me.

Susan - it appears that will set up a whole new account, including for the boards. I may be wrong.

Kathy - that is not the case. The membership there is membership for webcams only - the board is separate.

Well, that's what I had been trying to say (that the BonaireWebCams and BT are separate...guess I wasn't clear) Anyway, Kathy has already registered as a "free" member, so she should have a user name and password. I'm pointing this thread to the other moderators, maybe they can help!

The thing is FREE membership to the webcams pages is simply not logging in, period. The login name to BT should be able to be the same as the paid login to Bonaire Webcams, since they're separate.

Oh wait - now I see the problem. It's a conundrum, yup!

It worked! I registed as a NEW member under gold and it's working. Thanks! Now if someone wants to delete my mess (so sorry!) please feel free!

Susan - I think you mean "may not be the same".

Kathy, have you separately registered at the Bonaire WebCams site with a username and password there? If not, that's what you need to do. If you have, and you have logged in there (http://my.BonaireWebCams.com) with a Basic (free) membership, and the Upgrade function on that site isn't working, please e-mail help@caribbeanwebcams.com with the details. That site is completely separate from BonaireTalk as has been pointed out.
