Tomorrow this time, we will be somewhere above the Atlantic (I hope).
My wife Mieke is doing the last shopping, my sons, Sander and Niels, are off buying some more T-shirts and I've just done the garden. Almost everything is packed. The newspapers expect the busiest day ever on Schiphol, Amsterdam Airport tomorrow, so we will be leaving early. We will be trying to get access to a local POP on Bonaire, if that works I will upload some photos over the next 3 weeks.

See you there!

We all do Eileen.

My fellow Cabot Cheese Ambassador, Susan Taft and her husband Mark have been on Bonaire since the 21st and are there until the 19th of August.

Since they have been missing (I am sure) this rainy weather I just sent this e-mail to my friends at WDB:

"Hello Folks,

If anyone there sees Mark and Susan Taft today, throw a pail of water or spray them with your hose for me.

It has rained most of the time they have been on Bonaire and I do not want them to get homesick - HA!!!

You can tell them it was a "Special Delivery" from Cabot, they will understand:-{)}"

I sure hope it makes them happy;-{)}

If Bart or Bob does it, I will be ROTFLMAO. Probably to the point of "messing myself"!

Bert, have a safe trip and enjoy your stay!

For all the regulars (and long-timers here), I had a strange thing happening on the way home from work yesterday. I was driving on the highway, looking to a car I overtook. I thought that's a familiar face, so I let the other car overtake me again. Yes a familiar face indeed... I went after the car, gave a signal with my horn and waved to the driver... It was Bas (indeed, big Bas, from across the street at the old place of Jake and Linda. He is on a holiday trip here, leaving in a few days again.

Strange encounters you can have on the highway... :-)

Martin - just catching up on the weekend's threads and your story brought a smile to my face - what a small world we live in - TOO COOL that you ran into Bas!!!!

Eileen great capture of the Tarpon - Cecil - thanks for your excellent work in enhancing it. That reminds me - Jake brought your capture of the ray to Bongo's to show it off to everyone. First words out of my mouth was -It must have been Cecil who made it clearer for view!!!!

It sure was a surprise to see him on the Highway, We were both kinda surprised to "run into" each other... I called Angela and let Bas do the talking, she didn't knew at first who he was, that was a nice conversation... :-)
