Barbara, you will do great this weekend! AND a S. Cal dive would be fantastic! You will LOVE the kelp and little garabaldi's!!!! I'm feeling a So Cal mini meet coming on! LOL!

Barbara, You are the woman! Congratulations on the final test results! This weekends' dives will be a piece of cake. Remember that the instructor(s) will not take you into the open water unless they feel you are ready.

Whew, is there a weather prediction for Bonaire about some rain coming in from the East? I'm looking at a loop, and it looks wet for the next day or two---possibly. I'm not usually a predicter type.

That's why it was busy at work. We are going to dive in Zeeland this weekend and sleep in a tent (weather is going to be not good )

Hi, everybody!

I'm trying to get away from St Croix, Maybe Tuesday, four days' sail to Bonaire, give or take a day, depending on the breeze. That was some wierd piece of weather. Looked like Bonaire was going to get a drenching rain, then it turned north and became a string of rain, going E-W rather than the usual North-South strip of weather. Hmmmm

Anyway, I'll be sitting in that chair, or on the dock with scuba tanks. I guess I'll have to wear my D2D hat, a Dr Seus sort of red and black striped tophat.

And I'll be in front of the wreck occasionally, w/fishfeed. I've found that if I sit still on scuba, it gives the fishes a chance to come look at a scubadiver. I see all sorts of critters that way, coming to look at me. I just would like to have some sort of stool or chair....

I also believe folks would be happy to have park benches, rather than to have to paddle all over the place on every dive. I know I sure would.

Hi Melissa - t'is true that sitting still works well. In West Palm I sat and waited and a hawksbill turtle came to me and rested while I marveled at this miracle. Even snorkelling I have a blast with the pumpkinseeds coming around for handouts.
