Gotta go - ice cream sundaes for supper. We deserve it. Just spent the last hour and half with no monitor. The power fluctuated here and my 19" monitor went dead. I thought it was forever. WAY bummed.

Switched to a 15" and then tried to set the color too high and couldn't see Windows. That's a real ball. Finally got it reset in safe mode and tried the 19" one more time before I threw it into the pond and it CAME RIGHT ON!

Yay. I am so stressed though. Need chocolate. :-)

Have I told you lately that I love you? Have a good safe weekend - those of you who are watching 9 to 5. The rest of us will be back ASAP.

Hi Annie, don't know! But hopefully the black box means that they got it set up! I wonder if they had to bury the cable all they way down 60 feet!

I think it must be hooked up, the water temp seems to be accurate!

It is amazing the difference in the lighting on these two...looks like they are in two different parts of the world! LOL!

Greetings folks!

With the assistance of a whole lot of BT folks, plus the marine park folks, we got the mooring block in position this afternoon. We'll have more on the exciting drop of the cubic meter of concrete later.

Second dive, we placed the reefcam, and ran the cable. It was outstanding having so many folks in the water and on shore helping. Made the job go smoothly.

Now the crowd is at Bongo's Beach Bar. Present are: Jake, Linda, Bas and Yana, Dan, Bob & Niki, Roger & Karen Huff, Chuck Schroeder, Liz & Ed Ginoccio, Christine & Paul Hughes.

Special mention to Din, the Marine Park Ranger and Master Mooring Block Positioner, who landed the concrete block right on target, and Marine Park Rangers Sixto and Karl.

I'm surprised no one else caught it. The reef cam came on at 18:34. Everyone's been to busy watch my baby butt and hanging from trees. Well here it is the first capture from the new cam.

Tomorrow, tomorrow when the sun comes up tomorrow.

I haven't done any adjusting of the image on the South Beach Cam, or on the Underwater Cam. That'll probably happen tomorrow afternoon after I get the new Street Cam in place.

And the underwater temperature sensor is not yet in place. That'll happen tomorrow, hopefully.

Looky at all the fishies. I am counting the minutes. Maybe I'll just stay up all night. I used to do it when I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now.
