Good Morning/Buenos Dias/Bon Jour Eileen, John, Martine, Jenni. Thanks for the coffee and munchies.

It rain like crazy as I left work yesterday and today is a little cloudy :-(

Mary, I hope you are feeling better today. I read how the accident happen, scary but nice to find out that people are willing to help and that you are ok.

Cynde, hope you guys didn't have any more "shakes", it feels strange and scary. I am used to them since in Costa Rica we have quite a few trimers (sp) - earthquakes will from 6 and up.

Eileen, enjoy the time with your parents.

Jenni, donde has estado? Te he extranado. Hope all is ok.

And hello/hola to all who will check-in later. Keep smiling :-)

I don't want to speak too soon, but my gremlin hasn't shown it's face to me today. I wonder if we have finally beaten it, or whether it is still lurking somewhere. Usually, it has popped up by now. Fingers crossed everybody.

Hello guys and girls!
Mary- hope you still are ok today after the accident. Sorry to read about the car, though.
Cynde- wish you an earthquake free day today .
Elvira and Annie- hope the redness of your eyes will soon be vanished
Annie, I will keep my fingers crossed for the hidden gremlin, that it will be gone from your computer
I miss the reef cam
A boat:
shp

I'll have to say goodbye, going for a dive this evening and need to fill up my tank.
Have a great day all!

PS Martine, nice to read your game description of Holland against Germany. I did not watch the game (don't like soccer, frustration during my youth). But I did hear the result on the news and could give the numbers to Ruud (still in Hawaii)

Diana - hope you have a great dive!!!

Elvira - feeling less sore today than yesterday - just a tender spot on my shoulder and head where I hit them - nothing bad - just a bruise!!!

Cams are very quiet today - No boats, no waves, no people!!!:-(:-(: Now would be the time for people to visit the street cam!!!LOL!!

Morning all...still here! LOL! Yesterday's quake was one of the strongest we have felt in a long time, so of course, everyone was a bit jilted by it and caused quite the commotion in the office!

OK, I'm STILL seeing the blue blank screen on the reefcam...according to this Wally's da Man the new cabinet for the severs at the new location for the cams should be on it's way to Bonaire!

But maybe someone is diving????

Hi shelly, welcome. You can post pictures up to 50Kb by typing the following: \image{description}
In the next screen you get a browse screen to find and upload the picture. See for more info the formatting link (or look here)

Welcome Shelley!!! :-):-) Glad you found us.

Posting is pretty easy, once you get the hang of it. There are all kinds of tips under Formatting at the bottom of this page. To post pics, type in the following, without any spaces: \ image {name}. You'll be prompted to upload your picture. Just keep in mind that only pics from the webcams are allowed on this page, and only smileys, no gif's. (I'm gif-challenged, so that's not a problem for me :-))

moving day

Hi Shelley,

At the bottom of the page you will see a bunch if icons in blue, click on the one that says "formatting" and you will find all the instructions.

Oh yes, welcome to the absolute best group of people you will ever chat with and the best webcams in the known universe. Especially once the reefcam is back in operation.

Shelly, it's simple, just repeat \image{description} as often as you need it. But please keep the postings small, so people with a slow internet connection can enjoy the pages as well.

Like Lisa mentioned, on the webcams pages you can only post webcam pictures. If you have other nice pictures (or animated gifs) you can use the Community chat pages. Remember you may not post files with a copyright (i.e. Disney pictures)

Just asked Jake. The water sensor is sitting in a bucket of water on the beach which accounts for the temp fluctuation. And for all you little kids out there, this is why we do not leave live crabs in water buckets at the beach.

To add some eye-witness details to an old thread:

I'm impressed you could identify me up there loading up our truck for one of the first loads being moved to the new house. I did send you guys a web cam message, but none of you apparently noticed it.

I arrived at 11:06am and left at 14:54pm. What were we doing in all that time?

At 13:38 I provided an explanation:

80

I Packed 80 Wine Glasses

I'm holding one in my right hand. I didn't drop it as I wobbled out in the heat over the coral rubble to the beach cam!

What was Bob doing all that time? Answer: he was unlucky enough to come down with the flu right after we got there, so I was kicking around on my own, available to pack boxes for Linda and Jake and even for Yana.

Speaking of Doyle, above, I had a fun time meeting him and chatting at Gibi's at the BT dinner.

:-)

Poor Bob ,
but you got to give him this : if you are going to be ill ; better at Bonaire than at home :-)

Btw , Niki , are you sure you were not "packing" 80 glasses of wine ???

mmmmmhhhhh, quick math:
80 x 0,2liter/glass = 16 liter
16 liter x 0,7 liter/bottle = 23 bottles

Nope , you didn't DO that , you're still standing in the picture ( and breathing for that mather:-) )

sjossss
