Just got some goodies Friday for the enclosure (hopefully we will need it). I traded a side console for 10 - 30"x48" sheets of honeycomb core material. 5 Sheets are 1/8" thick and 5 sheets are 1/4" think. Plus 1 extra sheet of 1" solid core urethane board. This is pretty cool stuff.

I could use some extra 1/4" think myself. Boatbuilders get all the coolest stuff.
Maybe you'll grace us with some progress shots as time goes by Wally.

Wally, as a boatbuilder, perhaps you can explain this phenomenon. When my boat is hauled and I'm underneath it with a paintbrush in my hand, it is HUGE!! However immediately after it is put back in the water it shrinks to where I never have enough room. Can help??

I'll pay my gold membership fee. But I do think the resort that will donate the cams has to pay as well!!

Freddie, You are without a doubt the "Keeper of the List". Thanks Lady!!

Folks, I was reading another thread on this topic and almost posted the following there. Realized I would be virtually shot so pardon (or don't) my posting it here.

CAN NOT SAY I DO

I honestly can not jump on a Bandwagon with the rest of the group and say "I Do" as I have over the years found "My Special Place/Dive Operation". It would be fantastic if the operators of the businesses located there were to become home/sponsors of the WebCams.

In general and to all resorts on the island I will say that, a lot of people have traveled to Bonaire with me since the WebCams were launched. I believe that the images these people have seen on the WebCams and the information many of them have gained by viewing (lurking mostly) on the threads of Bonaire Talk, contributed greatly to their decisions to visit Bonaire, many of them repeatedly. Not your glossy ads, nor my "Dive Trip Pitch".

As a businessman and knowing what advertising cost in Scuba Diving Publications, I can not believe a major resort or for that matter, a group of businesses located together in a resort setting have not jumped on Jake's offer.

Imagine, being able to have people from all over the world seeing others enjoying what you offer, every day, not just reading your ad once in a travel or dive magazine if you are so lucky.

If it was me, I would keep the Underwater Cam, Street Cam, a Beach/Dock Cam (facing west), and ad a Beach Bar Cam and of course a Beach Cam.

Long Live The WebCams!!!

Tom Cousino aka vtscuba

ps: I am sending a copy of this to the people who run my "Special Place/Dive Operation"

I'm thinking of setting up my (digital)security cams at my boat plant to broadcast to my website. Got the idea from Bonaire WebCams.

Bob....boats shrink in water. The only way to get enough boat is to figure up the absolute max you can spend....close your eyes.....and double it.
