Good Morning :-) And a very early good morning it has been for me. Woke at 4ish, and when wide awake at 5, decided to get up and start packing my house up. I feel positive about it, and want boxes taped, and marked, and then stored in the loft. Which will give me space and a sense of I am getting somewhere with this packing the house up jobby:-)

coffSo I've just made myself a pot of tea, and for the coffee lovers out there I'm making coffee too

Godd Morning, Jenni, I am here :o)
Thanks for the coffee,(I already had one Jean Paul prepared for me), and I truly enjoy yours.
You are packing and I am wringing the kitchen floor out. The washing machine must have a leak and of course, Jean paul is out :o(
It a beautiful day here. We are going to our astronomy club tonight, trying to see the Comet ( Neat C/2001) at sunset, and then assist a conference about the next transit of Venus on june 8th. Have a nice day :o)

Good morning Jenni and Martine,
Over here it is also a beautiful day. We have our annual party for the dive club this afternoon and evening. With a BBQ, so I'm glad that the weather is co-oparetive
Jenni- that was a really early rise this morning!

Enjoy the saturday!

Good Morning Martine :-) What will the transit of Venus look like? In uk? And what will you see in Egypt?

Good Morning Diana :-) Sounds like you are going to have a great afternoon/evening with your dive club

Tonight Kev and I are going to a Cheese 'n Wine Evening with the Foresters [an organisation we are part of]. It is a great evening, free, with wine flowing all evening, and cheese and pate and the like. We have a speaker, and this year it is The Cheese Man - a man who lives near here and sells really unusual cheeses, eg nettle cheese. He is very interesting and talks and tells us about cheeses, and the shop he used to run.

Weather is cloudy here but with the promise of clearing. It is not cold, and I have already seen some sun :-):-) earlier.

Hi Diana,
Sounds nice evening to all of us :o)
Transit of venus is like an eclipse. Venus will cross the sun from east to west in the south part of the sun on june 8th from 05.20 AM till 11.15 AM UTC. Datas are also available for Holland. Just refer to this url : http://ds.dial.pipex.com/eclipse99page/venus.htm
The problem in UK is it may be cloudy, that's why we are going to Egypt ( and for diving too :o) )
Do you still have coffee, mine is over :o)

Diana, I think when the 'do' is free, and the wine is flowing the idea is to get a bit tipsy LOL

Martine, I'm just making more coffee, so I'll put enough on for you too :-) and some more in case anyone else is popping in for coffee

Thanks for the info re Venus crossing. I understand. If we have a cloudless day we might see it, and if not, then not. Bit like the eclipse a few years ago. We went to France to make sure we saw it. Absolutely fabulous experience that was :-):-):-)

Martine, thanks for the link for explaining the venus transit, now it's clear. I'll try to get a glimpse of it when it's not cloudy on the 8th of june
Thanks for the coffee, Jenni. I'll go and pack my diving gear for the club dive before the BBQ.

Have a good day all, if we do make nice pictures this evening, I will post some on cc tomorrow.
Enjoy the wine and cheese, Jenni.
And have fun with the astronomy club Martine.
Bye for now!

Martine, so you watched "Finding Nemo" last night. So Howdy Dude.

Starbucks coffee is on.

Last night we went to the Greek Festival at the local Greek Church. It is a new church and really nice. Great Greek music, dancers and a great place to have dinner.

Today a grandson is playing his last soccer match of the spring season. A must see event.

Hi John :-) Thanks for the Starbucks. Very timely. I'm just on a visit downstairs, having a rest from packing up. A lad in the street, who often helps me, came by and put the boxes in the loft for me - except one of books which was very heavy. I was much appreciative.

John, I was at a Greek restaurant last night and had Greek dinner too! Really good food :-) yum yumlicklips Enjoy the football match!

I haven't seen Finding Nemo yet. Got to get round to it by the sounds of it.

Hi everyone. Jenni. The answer to yesterday's question is, we are going to Santa Ponsa (hope I spelled it right). Have been to Alcudia years ago, and loved it, never been to this place though, so I don't know what it will be like. Just got back from shopping. All I got was a pair of toe post sandals. Annie B.

did you want to go on a shopping spree, Annie? I hate it when I go out to buy a lot of things and then can't find anything, and when I don't want anything I see loads of things I want [and have to buy, of course:-):-)] LOL

shine

Santa Ponsa is in the south of the island of Mallorca, and not that far from Palma, the capital. I'm sure you'll have a great time. When you going, Annie?
