What a lovely day in Bonaire - not like the UK where it is cold and very very wet
but nearly time to go home for a long Bank Holiday weekend

Oh dear after saying that looks like a big black cloud has descended - hope that wasn't my fault!!!

Boat left and no divers came to visit us!!!

Looks like a gorgeous day in Bon. Also beautiful here, but not quite as warm.

Nothing exciting on the cams right now, but maybe someone can answer me a question:



Why the color differentiation?

Dan - forgot that you were not back with us when the change of the north beach cam happened.

Basically the north cam wore out and fell down and Jake got a new that shows up the colors differently. There is a thread that explains - I just can't remember when it happened or would link you to that thread!!!

The south cam is also old and has an issue the yellow streaks caused by the light.

Jake's explanation was much better - but I think this gives you an idea. Makes for interesting side by side panos!!!

Dan - the real look of the ocean and coral rubble is a combo of both cams.

Here is a picture that I took from the water of the beach cams - please excuse the water on the lens!!!

Igor - I quit rubbing it in!!! I am going in July - but that seems to far away right now!!!

Hi Dan. Yes, that is jake's house. Do you see the pergola on the beach? We used to see the shadow from that roof before the cam was changed. Also notice the huge satallite dish on the left, partially covered by the trees. Ok, way past my bed time. See you tomorrow. Hugs. Annie B.
