WIth the current weather being what it is I know I'm looking for sun any way I can get it. I'm not sure I know what the sun and green grass and water look like! White and gray and brown and snow and cold weather!

How do you post a picture from the webcams into a message?

Angela, there are instructions if you go to formatting on the bottom of the page, it's pretty easy so give it a try! :-)

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of page Link to this message  By LaDonna Pride (Extraordinary BonaireTalker - Post #1222) on Tuesday, February 24, 2004 - 12:46 pm:     Edit PostPrint Post

Angela, the full instructions are on the bottom of the page under formatting. the simple instructions are....rt click on the pic you want to save and save it to your computer...then in the message type \ image { pic name } only take out the spaces and the program will ask you to tell it where you saved it and voila there it will be.

Angela - CONGRATS on posting your first pic - like LaDonna said - it hooks you into posting more and more......

Erik - great job on the pano - looks like you have the hang of it too!!!

LaDonna - you know a day of us posting cannot go without us doubling - too much telepathy!!!!

Angela - the colors are different from the north and south beach - because Jake just put a new cam up on the north beach and the south beach cam is just old and tired and now it shows!!!!

Love the sunsets on Bon!!!!sunsetn37.jpg

Hi Judy welcome on BT :o)
The green flash is the last sunbeam to appear before the sun desappears behind the horizon and this last beam is always esmerald green. The weather must be cloudless and perfectly clear. Very easy to observe from the beach ( especially on Bonaire ;o) )
It is also a famous novel written by Jules Verne :o)

I had to move right along to make it to Gibi's, AND I did all the math in dollars and guilders.

Kitty certainly was missed, Marc. Oh, and you too, definitely, yeah ;-)

Gibi did the menu thing before I got there, and then brought the bill in Naf and Dollars. there were ten of us, so I just added tip to both totals, moved the decimal point over, and everyone could pay in either currency.

We were the only ones in the place, I doubt he would have opened the restaurant except for BT.
