My wife and I are going to Bonaire mid Feb for 3 weeks. Anyone have any leads on rental properties? The resort route gets expensive.

Hi Eileen, I just finished shovelling snow and mixing up the compost. Jeffrey you might check out sun rentals website, and of course infobonaire has accomodations sorted by price, but there are certainly rentals out there.

Hello,
It's my first time with a discussion group. When I look at the web cams,I never see a fish.I am never at the right place at the right time. So it's a real pleasure to look at your pictures.Pardon my English, because I am a French Canadian. My husband says I even have an accent when I write in English.

Hello Everyone,
Too bad the shadows were so dark on this visitor. Maybe they will come back again when it's lighter.

Welcome Magie. The cams are a wonderful place to spend hours (until your eyes are only burning embers), but when you do see your first up-close-and-personal look at a fishy, it is worth the wait. Be patient - some days are very active, and you will be thrilled. Nice to have you among us!

Magie, above on the screen there is a link to a site Reef Cam Critter gallery showing all the fish that appear on the cams and their nicknames. Satch is a nickname (I am so used to calling the fish by the nicknames that I have forgotton the species names! LOL).

Great pics Eileen and Barb!

Magie, "Satch" is a trumpet fish - named for the great trumpet player Louis Armstrong - also known as Satchmo. I had the great honor, quite some time ago, of having the nickname I chose for him accepted by the BT folks. I'll always think of him as "my guy"!
