It was a busy and stressy week for me, but two nice things: Wednesday was my birthday (party tonight, everyone is invited!) and my husband took me out to diner, and best of all: I booked Bonaire for next May!!!!

Good morning everyone!! Slept in after a couple of busy days to see you have all been very busy!!
And now it looks like the cams are stuck! Stormy here and the leaves are coming down now!

I think Cynde is correct as they swim up into the water column to mate.

The cams are stuck so good night all, we are off for an Indian curry.

Three weeks and we will be back on our way to Bonaire!!!!

Well, in my fish behaviour book I bought...they all get into a frenzy, and the males "dive toward gatherings of females, and when they are "ready" they do a series of rapid jumps toward the surface, then the females with egg move toward the surface as well, then the males join the females, and in pairs they rocket up two or three feet and then snap apart releasing gametes...I hope this wasn't too graphic for some of you! LOL! The Reef Fish Beahviour book by Ned Deloach is really good

Brian, in my reef id book, it looks like they may be rainbow, or bluehead...hard to tell...
