Hi All,
First of all I have really enjoyed watching the webcams this week. We will be arriving in Bonaire on Sunday and the webcams are helping me get through the week. We want to dive the Webcam site which I think is Small Wall and from what I've read we need permission to get to that site from the shore since we go thru private property. How do I get this permission? I want tell my friends and family to watch for us. Thanks for your help and let me know if you want me to bring anything from the states. Tammy

Corruption and Bribery Tammy !!!:-)

Bringing doggy cookies for Grendel ( the big one) might help too.

Than it is up to bribing Jake and Linda with all kind of goodies to get you to the beach :-)

If you succeed , how will we recognise you ???
sjosss

Tammy, the only guaranteed way to dive small wall is by boat (yes, it is all private property). When you get to the dive shop, you can usually request to go to small wall....then you can email your family and tell them when to watch (just go to a cybercafe:-)) have a great vacation!

I am soooo jealous you are leaving for Bonaire on Sunday. My father and I just took our first trip to Bonaire (Oct. 29 - Nov. 5) and loved every second of it. Unfortunately, we did not dive the reef cam, but did spend plenty of time with Grendal and Blynke in front of the web cam (staying at Diver's Paradise right behind Jake's made it easy). Please give them both a treat from me! As I'm sure you've been advised, bonairetalk at Gibi's is not to be missed...but even if you do not make it Tuesday night be sure to eat at Gibi's at least once (we went back twice). Enjoy your trip.
Erinn

Tammy, you can get to the Reef cam by swimming to it. It is a long (but not an uncomfortable) surface/snorkle swim from where the houses end on the street. But if you do that, you better know where you're swimming to because you could easily miss it. We are resourseful Canadians and always up for a challange but the sure bet is by boat.
