Good Morning Martine, I hope your day goes by without incident. I am hoping that my Friday drive home isn't as busy as last week. Friday night traffic is terrible.

Hi Jos, good to hear from you again!! Since I live in Noordwijk, I stay far away from Leiden as possible this day... But it's nice to have a day off!

Mary, the dead fish is about a tradition in the city I work in. They celebrate that Leiden, centuries ago, was freed.

Good morning, everyone. Looks like there's been no one here for a couple of hours. Is everyone working? Gone back to sleep? Annie, I was afraid that you had frozen until I got to the post that the boiler is fixed. Good thing.

Eileen; make sure you're boiler doesn't go out. Gee, guys, its 38F/3C here in Juneau right now, but yesterday we again made a new record at 60F/15C. Anyone want to move to the banana belt? :-)

Jos -the last time I was on St John - I did do the braid thing - all over my head over 100 braids to keep my hair under control and out of my way when I was in the water. It was great but I will never do that again - when I took them out 2 weeks later my hair was breaking off all over - too hard on it.
