Oh my gosh, it is already 32° (97F) at 8.30 AM.

Martine - sorry to hear your kitty is not doing well in the heat - I have 2 15 year old cats - one hates the heat the other won't go inside in the A/C - stays on the front porch on the sun all day in 90 degree heat.
I hear the heat wave is supposed to break next week - hope you can hang in there a little longer.

Martine, I read today that Paris has over 100 deaths related to heat! Wow, sorry to hear about that. Today the big Texas was 67 F this morning and the high is only supposed to be 89F !!!! this is the first day in a long time it's going to be under 100F. Hope y'all get cooler.
