Good morning.
Today I'm starting the new thread!! No one else around this morning to share some coffee (water) with?
I saw that Barbara made it to supreme yesterday, by posting lots of beautiful sunsets!

Now there is nothing to see at the cams, yet...

1 Beautiful morning! Good Morning everyone! I have a day off from work today! Stat holiday today so all the stores are closed (well most anyway). Everything is finished so all I have to do today is nothing! Martine, I hope you get better, it is awful having an illness in the heat.

Hi gang, I am back from the Doc. Nothing serious, just a rhino virus due to serious ozone pollution. Doc said there is a lot by now. I have some medicine to take and in a couple of days I should be fine again. I think I am going to have a nice "siesta".
Let's talk with Jean Paul if it wouldn't be better for us to move to the country :o). The only positive point is I am contageous by sneezing and caughing, so I'll probably have the WHOLE BED for me tonight. Woohoo !
I count on you to post nice divers pics :o)

Hi guys,

it has been a long hot weekend and just for the fun of it : it is going to be a long hot week.

Since the weatherpeople predicted monday to be tropical hot : I had the briljant idea ( and it had to be done) to go fix the sewer connection of our house.
So if you smell something, ... yep.

I would so much rather be here!!!yep

Michael ,
ambitious ? why?
Done that before , replaced bad parts , just needed some modifications and improvements.
Ok , you stink up the place real bad , but what's a bit BO , when its close to 100 degrees fahrenheit???
It's the lack of space below the house that bugs me.( hûhÛh , I 'm a BIG guy , you know!!)

Anyway , done that , been there , taking it easy at work , so .... bring out the divers.!!!

Jos, glad to hear you finished the smelly job!

The carkey thing, is a diver of our club left his carkey and locked it inside his car during a nightdive. The story is not yet ended, because I don't know the outcome. But I will find out this evening, when going for the monday-evening dive...
My workday is over....
Maybe I peek in after the dive, otherwise, see you tomorrow!!

Eileen, Didn't go anywhere for vacation, just worked on the house. We were supposed to be painting the house, but not one drop of paint was applied! Instead we built some new stairs and bought a new boat! :-) Had to spend time spiffing up the new toy! :-) Now if this weekend will just be nice we can go play!

LaDonna

Jos - By ambitious, I was thinking in terms of trying to work on my own sewer line here at home. You see, it comes out of the house about 8 feet below ground. In other words, it takes a pretty massive pit to get to it to do any work. Your explanation seems pretty reasonable. My neighbor had to call a contractor in to work on hers and she ended up with an enormous trench from her house out to the street.

Jos, you are brave working on the sewer line in the hear. I hope you will be having a cooold beer every so often.

LaDonna, a boat! Sounds like a better plan than painting any day:-)!

Igor, I think I for got to mention that your flicky pics look great!

Michael , No way !!

I was referring to the connections under the house , just open a hatchway behind the frontdoor and crawl in.
It's just 2 feet high so ,.....

Worse thing was that I forgot to lock the door and my mother in law fell in the hatch!!!
Severely hurt her shinbone and her bottom, and I do mean footsize black bruising!
Could have been a lot worse ofcourse, she's almost 70 years old , and people that age break their bones so easely.
loads of bad jokes were made yesterday at a family birthday party:-)

and a fishyfish

No beer for me this week , ( I'm slowly starting to cry as I write this) I'm on some "extra strong" antibiotics this week . What was I thinking !!! temps are over 90 Fahrenheit !!!

Well , 5 days pills , just enough time in between weekends I guess.

Sorry about your cold, Martine, I know how you're feeling, I am still sneezing too, found out (hear say) that there are obviously an extremely lot of mushroom pollen (?!) in the air due to the extreme circumstances, and I'm clearly having trouble with them. Usually I have only problems in early spring. I think I have to get me some tablets first, otherwise I won't sleep again this night.

Michael , you can think of any joke including the word "drop in" "welcome any time" "fallen ladies"
etc etc.
and it wasn't a little fall , the hatch it self is 1 meter deep ( over 3ft) , the rest is just 2 feet high.

eileen , yeah right , cold water , nope.
We have a lovely compromise , it looks like beer , it ( somehow) tastes like beer , but it has no alcohol in it. MAlt beer as they call it .So, I'll stick to that I guess.

Karin , mushroom sniffing for you I see?
you might end up like blikje : sitting on a gate post , staring the wrong way.
