This is one of my favorite bread recipes. It's simple, it's no fuss, and it comes out great everytime. Just a note: the original recipe (before America's Test Kitchen show modified it) was developed and provide by the Sullivan St Bakery in Manhattan. Try the Olives, Rosemary, Parmesan version too!

I think it's copyrighted which is the reason for the link - plus the illustrations are perfect if you're doing it for the first time.
