Last Saturday,April 9th Dive Friends Bonaire and NetTech organized their Clean Up dive again for everyone who wants to make a difference! Over 100 volunteers participated to clean the reef in front of Restaurant It Rains Fishes. Lot's of trash was brought on the shore: 491 Glass Beverage Bottles and other Glass, 17 Plastic Bottles, 88 Beverage Cans, 172 Cups-plates-forks-knives & Spoons, 112 pieces of Building Materials and much more! The container, that was sponsored by Selibon was almost full!

At 5 pm the raffle started and General Manager Pascal and Assistant Dive Manager Asko made a lot of people happy with a great price, for example a diner coupon for 2 at It Rains Fishes! After that it was Barbecue time. There was plenty of food and side dishes. 2 drinks for free and after that a symbolic fee of $1 per drink.
A staff member of Dive Friends handed out special Clean up Log Book sheets for people who were interested.
Special thanks to our sponsors: Selibon, Obersi Group, It Rains fishes, Mondriaan, Reef, Deep Blue, Dive Shades, Ouray Sportswear, Watertaxi Kontika di Amour, Bonaire Marine Park.
It was a fantastic day where local people and visitors of Bonaire did their best! 4 times a year a spot is chosen for the clean up dive. Next clean up dive is July 10th. If you are on Bonaire that period, you are more then welcome to join!

EVERYONE WHO HELPED: THANK YOU SO MUCH ! YOU DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

I'll be there the 10th of July and will gladly help.
I will bring my son and maybe my daughter.
At what location will the cleanup be then?
