Wow. Good luck little island. Good luck.

Sucks to be living on this island. What an embarrassment for the locals. Yet more evidence that Bonaire's environmental stewardship is a complete and total fraud.

yes, Eddie, you are quite correct. In fact, I think Bonaire should change its motto from "Leading by example" to "Pollute for Free!" Couldn't you just see those banners hanging downtown with pictures of poop trucks on both sides?

Time for American divers who love Bonaire to take their business elsewhere and be sure to write to the Tourist Board and tell them why you choose not to spend your money here anymore. perhaps they will get the message that they can't take American divers for granted. As one divemaster said to me, "The Americans will keep coming no matter what!"

Three friends and I have a dive trip planed for Jan 2010. We have all decide that will probably be our last one. I started diving Bonaire in 1989. There have been just too many bad changes to Bonaire to justify coming back. This just adds one more very good reason.

WOW , Sean Paton has done it again . This is scary stuff for all citizens of Bonaire . Sewage treatment is necessary for a healthy Boniare .
They should just charge another visitor tax and get it done , you know you will pay !
