I would be interested to know what organization or individual is sponsoring this on-line survey regarding the impact on cruise ships visiting Bonaire. Is it legitimate? Can someone tell me?

John, it was a group of concerned residents of Bonaire. I can tell you they are very legitimate. There is an email contact listed on the home page of the Bonaire Surveys site.

That survey has been online for a while. Has the group done anything with the results? Have they been published anywhere? Did they have a plan for using the results? I enjoyed having my say about the cruise ships and would be interested to see what came out of the survey.

Folks, the ones which have been made public are on the web site at Bonaire Surveys.......just click on "public results" located on the main page of the site.

Susan, I just checked and it said the domain had expired and would not show any info. Did I access the wrong thing?

No, looks like it did expire--strange we didn't get a notice. But all's well that ends well--it's back up now! Thanks for letting me know!

The results match my survey entries 100%. Next question: will the survey result in any changes as to the number of cruise ships arrivals?

As always,follow the money.
A government plan was made to allow and encourage many more and much larger cruise ships to make Bonaire a port of call.
The local license plate will, in time, read "USED TO BE A DIVERS PARADISE"

Your comments welcome

Of course nothing will make them change their chosen path. That would mean that they admit having made a mistake. Those folks never make a mistake just in case you didn't know yet! You will most likely not even get an answer and if you do it will be crap like 'thanks for your feedback'.
