Hello, everyone,

I wanted to share some information with everyone here on BT as I know you are all very concerned & active with regard to protecting Bonaire's delicate environment and the effects of mega Tourism on Bonaire.

Forum Antilles, the radio show hosted on Sunday's by Sean Paton on Mega FM 101.1 will have at least two of Bonaire's important local officials as guests this Sunday, March 15. They will be "live" on the air at Noon and available to receive telephone inquiries and concerns and/or emailed comments/concerns/inquires from anyone.

Sean will host the discussion session and is looking forward to hearing from anyone (via telephone or email) who has questions and/or concerns.

You do not have to speak "on air" during the show if you prefer not to do so. You can call the studio phone and relay your concern/inquries to Sean (anonymously, as well, if you so prefer) and Sean will then present the comments, concerns and inquiries to the government official guests while on the air. (Noon to 1:00 p.m.)

So far Sean's guests on the show are Diputado Elvis Tjin Asjoe and Jeffrey Levenstone. Together they hold the portfolio of Tourism, Environment Financial Affairs and others.

You may contact Sean by email at his website location

http://www.forumantilles.com/index.html:

info@forumantilles.com (email address)

OR by telephone in the studio (011 from US) 599-717-2101

OR you may reach him BEFORE the show goes on air this Sunday Noon by calling (011 from US)599-786-0106. You may use this number DURING the show Noon-1:00 p.m. (1300 hours) as well.

This is a great opportunity for everyone to become directly involved in Bonaire's present situation as well as her future.

You can listen to the Mega FM radio show via an Internet connection if you are not on island this Sunday. The show can be heard on 101.1 FM or through the Internet megafm.com and follow the links to listen now.

The information on how to listen via the Internet is on the upper right hand side of the page. There are three different ways to enable you to listen to the station "live" via the Internet.

My apologies for being very "winded" and lengthy in my posting but I wanted to be certain I covered all of the bases for this very important Forum Antilles program session on Sunday, March 15, 2009 from Noon to 1:00 p.m.

Thank you all for caring about Bonaire! Carole

Hi, Silvia, it's good to have you on board with us for the show! Love your webpage, too!

I hope we have a good response to the show and that more folks will pop in on BT today and tomorrow morning to see the posting as this is a great opportunity for everyone to "jump in there" with both feet and express their thoughts and concerns about our Bonaire. cb

I agree! It was a good show. Elvis was late and Mr. Levenstone did not make it at all. Sean read some great questions from folks who sent him emails. Tough, thorough and on-point questions and issue. Some answers were given but a lot more questions and continued concerns were raised.

We cannot let this drop off the face of the earth.

Sean will revive this forum again and we all hope that the officials who state they will be in attendance will be able to represent themselves for the session in the studio.

Hats off to Sean, once again!

Thank you to those of you who did participate in the program via email contact and phone contact with Sean Paton. Danke. Carole

Hi, Menno...Diputado Elvis Tjin Asjoe was the gentleman who finally made it to the studio to sit with Sean for a while.

Maybe we can get Sean to air the program again? I'll see if he plans on doing that in the near future. Maybe more folks will listen to the rebroadcast....cb
