I am a windsurfer so am a bit weather obsessed. Am coming down Aug. 25th and hope to sail daily. It seems like it is cloudy with showers..now this is according to 4 weather sites.

Having lived in Antigua it NEVER rained but the forecasts always called for rain. What is the scoop down there? Thanks..Annie

p.s. I do not mind rain at all..just would LOVE some nice winds

Ann: I will "defer" the official response to your inquiries to the experts who live on Bonaire, but I think I can safely comment that there is no true "rainy season" on Bonaire....nothing that would inconveniece your activities in any drastic manner. As far as the winds go, there are seasons for the winds. In late August they might be more dimished than other times of the year, especially if there is any tropical storm activity flourishing in the Caribbean (not directly affecting Bonaire, however).

I will, however, allow the experts to give you a more definitive answer to your questions!! I do hope you make it to Bonaire and have the time of your life! Carole
