Are there any consignment shops on the island?

selling what?

i am an artist interested in marketing my art on bonaire. of course i realize, that it would have to be seen, approved and liked by a shop owner first. different folks like different styles of art, some shop on bonaire may or may not like mine. i also would have greeting/note cards.
also can a person operate a small gallery of their own art out of their home? is it permitted?

Many folks have shops in their homes...I am putting toghether a web site www.bonaireshopper.com which will feature a bumber of their works. There is also a shop, Harmony,(there are a few other places, such as Beefeater restaurant if I am not mistaen, who display local art for sale) that has lots of stuff. I also have opened my site to folks who have approriate stuff and will be willing to ship it from the usa or holland to folks who order on line. Hopefully, the site will be operatinal in a month or so. Keeping my fingers crossed.
