We think that we'll be completing our move to Bonaire before the summer is over. We'll be needing transportation. What we have in mind for now is a couple of late model Suzuki Carrys or Jimnys or a combination thereof, and a Vespa like thing.

How does one go about locating reliable used cars? Is there a trustworthy used car dealer on the island? Do the new car dealers have used car departments and stand behind what they sell? Do the car rental places sell their cars still in good shape or do they run them until they're trashed? (I emailed Carrental asking if they sold their cars on the island when they turned over their fleet, but was not graced with a reply.) Is there a good garage or mechanic who 'fixes and sells?'
