Has anyone heard how Renee Leach (the Woodwind) is doing? She was going to S. Africa to have back surgery in March and was going to be gone for 3 months or so. Thanks.

Renee is actually leaving early May. I will update the board when we hear the good news that all is well.

Oh, no! I hope Renee' will be well quickly and back in the water with the fishies of Bonaire. They will all go into shock without her being there to play with them every day. Good luck to Renee' and I hope the surgery is a success.

Will the Woodwind continue to schedule trips in her absence with the crew? Won't be the same, but I was just wondering.

The best of luck to you Renee'. Carole

The new captain is ULF. (spelling?)His wife Dee who is a dive master will also be on board providing all their paperwork comes through.Tom and I had the pleasure of sailing with them our second week in March while he was learning the ropes. I am sure they will take very good care of the Woodwind while Renee is away.

I just heard from Renee and Ulf and Dee will be running the Woodwind in her absence. They will also provide the guided snorkels and BBQ days. So the fun on the Woodwind will continue! Happy sailing everyone!
