Well, I've been posting the last few days, but have neglected to tell everyone that my husband Ed and I are going to be new "Bonaireans", Part time for now. We recently purchased a townhouse at Lighthouse Beach Resort (#13) and are sprucing it up a bit. We will be down starting tomorrow (Air Jamaica 2:30) flight and will be staying down until July 7th. We are not new to Bonaire (Ed has been visiting since 1976 and me since 1992). We are soooooooooo happy that we finally got a place. For the next couple of years we will try and make it down as much as we can, but after Ed retires (early retirement) we plan on making Bonaire home for most of the year. Please feel free to stop by and say hi while we are down this time...we would really like to meet and become friends with others living in Bonaire! Thanks!

Congratulations Liz and Ed! We're practically neighbors...we have a house in Belnem, and like you, are only part-time wash-ashores for now, with the hope of becoming full-timers as well. Buying our house was one of the best things we've done. Will swing by #13 to say hello next time we're down.

Kate

Hi Liz.

Congrats on the realization of your dream. My wife and I recently bought a condo at Belair, in Belnem; and will go down in August to chase out the spiders and crabs. We also hope to settle in Bonaire ( eventually ), and meet people such as you and your family that share similar interests. Please drop a line if you have a moment. The Clownfish.
