I was looking at the calender for July and came across this listing for this event but I don't have a clue to what it's about. Anyone know anything about this event? We are going to be there at the time and may be interested in joining in. Also, any other of the Bonaire Talk clan going to be on Bonaire on July 21-28 ??

Herman, maybe we can meet for dinner and maybe a shore dive. We are staying at the Plaza. Maybe there will be others to join us. There are 5 of us going, my husband, myself and our 3 kids ages 15, 13, & 12.

Sounds like a plan, there will be 2 diving couples in our group, we can email each other to get a time/place setup a little closer to the time...Still have not found out what the Copa Cultimara event is, must be fun if it's the 15 th one

Herman, The Copa Cultimara is an annual sailing event. Windsurfers, Sunfish, Optimists, Fishing Boats and Micro Boats will all be competing for trophies and medals provided by Cultimara Supermarket, the sponser of the event. There is a BBQ and music and more for the spectators.

Thanks Ellen, I knew somebody had to know. Sounds like it may be worth a look.

I just got an update for the calendar. The Copa Cultimara is going to be held Aug 4th and 5th.
