Jennifer Celestijn was killed in a hit and run accident.
I didn't knew her but I'm an old friend of her mother Rita.
I was shocked.
Did you knew her? How was she?
Or just tell me something nice about Bonaire.

It is sad not to be able to say something nice at this point. We heard today (oct.1st) on the news that the person guilty of hit and run managed to get away. There are a lot of things that went absolutely strange in this manner. Why did the law enforcement let this person go to Aruba and then be able to flee to Venezuela? Why wasn't any arrangement made to guarantee her appearance in court on the trial date?
I can not start to imagine how ms Celestijn's family must be feeling at this moment. This is not the disclosure they might have been preparing themselves for. I hope they can find some solace in the thought that this person might flee for earthly punishment but she won't be able to escape judgement day. Dios ta grandi ....

Once again my deepest sympathy.
