Lost the satellite signal last night and no luck today either.... all I get is no signal.
I called the techy number and a woman answered and when I spoke English she hung up on me.
So I called the office and called and called and nobody will pick up the phone.
Anyone else having problems?
I dont want to drive to Playa.

Been having problems for several days. Called office Monday they said they had a big problem and hoped to have it fixed Monday afternoon. Obviously not fixed yet. Just checked it is 3:30 am Wednesday and still no signal.

Wed, received report that a major part in the antenna is required to repair. The part is here but with all the rain, it is too dangerous to climb the antenna to fix it. As soon as we get some dry conditions, they will fix it.

Signal resumed last night at suppertime... seems to be back to normal... Q and S near 100... good job.
Antenna in Rincon was the problem.
Inclement wx was the delay... slippery and possible lightning.... I wouldn't go up there either.
I do understand things break and things need maintenance... a simple recording on the telephone would deflect numerous calls and a simple message on the TV screen other than no signal would have been helpful.
I did send an email to Curacao voicing my suggestions... no response... yet.
Welcome to the Tropics.

ours went out last winter for a few days...i thought it was the usual outage so i didn't even bother reporting it for a while. then we found out our neighbors all had a signal. turns out it was some wire disconnected in the yard.
