Hello,

We're down in Bonaire for our first off-season trip after 4 during the winter/early spring. It's certainly quieter during this time, which certainly isn't necessarily a bad thing (unless you own a business!) My question was whether Cultimara carries less product during the offseason. We went today and their cheese selection had dwindled down to a couple random wedges. The Warehouse filled that gap. Of more concern to me, they had no crunchy chocolate hazelnut spread! Every year we have stocked up on Albert Heijn chunky chocolate spread, since I have not been able to find it in the U.S. or online anywhere. That hazelnut spread, the Venezuelan bananas, and the diving (not necessarily in that order) are some of my favorite parts of coming here!

Hi Rich,

We've been both march and september and didn't see any differences... but we didn't look for the items you mention.

recovering from several long holidays .. so no shipping ... crane problems again in Curacao .. it will appear ...try More for Less or and many of multiple little Chinese family grocery stores ...try Carib,Sunshine ..or Progresso .. or the great little market across from WEB... just ask .. if its here . someone will be able to tell you where to find it ...also this is low season and many people are off island .. our little breather before the season starts ..one of the joys in paradise it is never ever a 0ne even Two or three stop shopping day .. it's one of our hobbies here ..actually we joke and say we are going out to forage for our groceries .. the best part is you get so thirsty you are required to make a refreshment stop for that special "cold one"" ONWARD!!!

Hey Rich ,we too have our favorites on the island diving and tiramisu in that order. We hit the warehouse on Tuesday afternoon and purchase 8 to 10, due to them usually being out by Thurs. Have not tried the bananas though.

Rich,

I haven't personally been into Cultimara for 3-4 weeks, but during that time I was told that it was very depleted, then a week or two later that it was extremely well stocked. Now it sounds like it may be depleted again.

So, it's probably not simply that it's the off-season, though that may play a role in how frequently they get restocked.

Hmm, just checked out the Warehouse this afternoon for tiramisu and there was none. Perhaps you already nabbed this week's worth?

I will check out Cultimara on Thursday or Friday to see if any new shipments came in. Glad it's not just cutting back for the slow season. Unfortunately I've never seen the AH spread anywhere but Cultimara, and sometimes it just doesn't happen to be there that week. I'll keep my fingers crossed!
