Does anyone have any current news on the progress (or lack of) Bonaire's duty free zone?

the free zone is coming but it is not intended for the general public. Curacao and Aruba have freezones and they do attract light industry and transhipping facilities, etc. It should not have to great of an impact either way in relation to bonaire other then to employ more people outside of the tourism sector, not such a bad idea if it works out.
