According to a Papiamentu newspaper there seems to have been a serious incident at Flamingo Airport involving Insel Air - anyone know what that's about?

I didn't get chance to read the article - it wouldn't have helped as I don't understand the language - only a few words. that was just the headline.
of course in terms of Bonaire big news - it may have been a parking violation - maybe the pilot tried to leave withour paying!

yes .. it was pretty much to do about nothing... 4 planes were on the way to bonaire including the insel flight around noon .. a private plane did not answer the ground control and there was concern that this plane was unaware of the insel flight even tho all flights fly visually as well . there was concern they were too close together .. ..all 4 planes landed just fine ....with just a touch of drama ... it is all in the interpretation of the papiamentu word serio .. which is not in usage quite the same as english ...

Thanks Pietri for clarifying. I was slightly worried, not a good day for planes to not answer ground control.
