meg, it's about a 10 or 15 minute walk from the plaza...follow boulevard abraham from the plaza till you get to the tourist board. turn right, that's kaya simon bolivar.

Well, folks, I was there at the appointed spot across from the barbershop on Simon Bolivar at 7:00pm on Wednesday, but there was definitely no AA meeting there. Whatever the place was was closed up tight, and there were no cars or people around. When I asked about an AA meeting, people in the barbershop and bar across the street were kind but befuddled! I did not make a call to the local contact number.

you should have called...if there were an alternate location, the would have been happy to tell you. I will ask one of the contacts to find out what happened

Just in from NYC. I want to check that this information about meetings is correct - please let me know if there are any others, I would like to go to as many as possible while I am here for the week. If anyone is up for fellowship on other days, I'd be thrilled.

1. NA --- Meets at Old Hospital Mondays at 7:00pm

2. AA --- Kaya Lib. Simon Bolivar, across from Barbaria Antilliana --- Wednesdays at 7:00pm

you need to call 786-7699 to confirm time and place. It is a cell phone so it may ne a challenge to call from your hotel room. Just pass by Chat n Browse and I will make the call for you..
