Wow, what a night. It was probably the best Taste of Bonaire in a long time. Mr. Gaynor and Raj made special guest appearances. I had karko stoba at Giby's and key lime pie at Annette's but do not recall eating it because I was dealing with a mini crisis. The awards for the IFCA Bonaire Slalom Event was great and after, the fireworks, WOW..incredible. I saw Carole Baker and her lovely hubby....it was a fun night..now on to freestyle. oh wow ann, I just wish I would have been part of that..... any chance of any events between august and september because Im an obnoxious visitor to the island, almost like a flu! Would love to hang again with you and your daughter.

Pity it wasn't advertised better. how did you know it was on?

I believe Sunday Aug 9th is the next scheduled "Taste of Bonaire". And I'm looking forward to it!!!

JOBY, I was notified via email from TCB Inc but since I am volunteer for our event so it was part of our social plan. I have to say, most folks agreed this was the best Taste of Bonaire in a long time. Great food...a nice vibe.

It is Sunday, the 16th..It was advertised in all the papers, radio, posters in strategic locations, most of the dive shops. etc, All ads were in English. So, Silvie, I will save a special spot for you next to me and Raj!
