I have a friend who is on the island until Sunday who is sight impaired (but not totally blind)and loves to walk and walk and walk... however he is prone to getting lost sometimes and/or walks in circles.

Is there anybody who would be will to take him for a walk for a few hours?

He would be willing to pay if necessary and could meet you at the Divi lobby.

I dove with John yesterday and we had a great time (I am a HSA instructor in addition to PADI instructor but had never been in the water with a sight impaired person so it was also very educational for me). He told me he walked from Blue Divers all the way to Jibe City the day before...WOW. Pretty interesting to see him enjoy the underwater world.
