I was just wondering how the Airport makeover changed the car rental building. It it still located on the airport property or is it across the street? Is it easy to drag your lugage to the rental spot? Just wondering.

Airport Car Rental is just across the parking lot to your left as you walk out of the terminal. Depends, of course, on your rental company. It is easy to cart your luggage over there - but that depends on your luggage !!!

As of November - basically the same spot. See if anyone chimes on who has been there more recently.

Hi Sandy, it is still in the same old spot, but not all rental agencies are in their same old spot. Some of them are in temporary locations presently elsewhere on the island. Depending on what rental company you are dealing with will depend if they are there now or not. Like, for example, A/B used to be at the same old spot, it is not presently, they now have a shuttle that takes you from the airport to the their new temp. location at the Plaza. So, I cannot really say if your rental company is still there or not as I do not know which one you are using. Phew! I hope I didn't confuse you too much on that one.

Avis, Everts, Budget and Hertz.
At the Plaza are;
Total, AB Car Rental, Island Car Rental and Top Drive.
The rest have their own locations.
The Plaza Car Rentals use a shuttle Bus for picking up guests and the elsewhere Car Rentals pick up guests themselves
