This will be my 9th trip and I have missed these two places. How do I get to Island Supplier and Progresso? Directions from Richard's would be perfect. My group goes through Polar like water, hence Progresso. I just want to see what Island Supplier has to offer. We cook in most nights but like to eat well. Thanks

T.I.S. is on the same road as The Warehouse. Next door or next door but one...

And most of the true goodies at TIS are not necessarily on the shelves......if you're looking for restaurant-quality meats, fish, etc., ask what they have in stock. High quality tuna fillets, cowboy steaks, pork loins or tenderloins, baby back ribs, etc., usually come in and go out very fast, but sometimes they have some in stock and on some items you can buy by the piece. They are not cheap, but in my opinion worth the price for a wonderful home-cooked meal. But, you so have to ask.

progresso is on kaya korona in or near antriol. when you get to the catholic church in town, go north. you'll pass kooyman and progresso is on the same side of the road just a bit farther north (a km or two as i remember)

RA.. A cowboy steak is the bone in rib eye aka Delmonico after the famous restaurant in lower Manhattan.

Not to be confused with shell steaks which is the right side of the t bone or called porterhouse if the filet (left side)is more then 3 inches. Also called NY strip if the shell steak served without the bone.
Aren 't you glad you asked??
PS I'm not a butcher but am a carnivore :-)

Thanks, all. Turns out I know both locations but not where the businesses were located.

Will Martinis sell to the public? Does Progresso keep a good supply of Polar? Last May it suddenly became really hard to find.

okay .. let me start again .. progresso has a new buyer and is bringing it a lot of american products .. good brands and very good prices .. progresso sells polar ...and usually for one of the better prices on bonaire ... not more than 15 feet to the south .. across a secondary road is martines imports -- who are the importer/agents for bonaire ... so wherever you go you are on track .. martines sells to the public in lots of 5 cases or more..as bonaire is 100% dependent on shipping shortages do occur .. if you had trouble finding polar and were on bonaire in early may there was a huge 4 day festival - dia di rincon/queens birthday and we bonairians do love our beer ..

That was indeed when I was there, so the shortage was understandable. 5 case lots are small potatoes for our group, so the clarification is a big help. Thanks.
