Please can someone put me in touch with someone who helps with the boys. My staff have put together some packs of toiletries and school goodies for them and we would like to check that what we have got is good and if there is anything extra we can get.
We did this with no money changing hands. People just put an extra soap or toothpaste or the like in their shopping for a few weeks.

Julia....this is out of nowhere, but I typically am. My office (all 35 of us) do a substantial amount of travel and end up in a lot of hotels, so we have started collecting those little soaps and shampoos that come with hotels. There's a facility near us (right across the parking lot) that houses kids (4-18 yr olds) that the police have taken from their families (mostly coz the parents got arrested) and we pretty much keep them in toiletries. Their kids may stay for 2 or 3 days or up to 180 days, but they really appreciate being able to welcome new kids with a package of toiletries that is "their own". We also collect conference trinkets like bags and backpacks and give them so the kids can take stuff when they leave them.
Just sharing a thought (and now I have no thoughts at all).

Our family visited the Höppner foundation this summer and made a donation for improving their sanitary conditions, buying some fan’s and the replacement some of the lamps.

This is their website.

When I'm home this evening I will try to find the business card of the managing director.

Julia
I've send you a private mail because I'm not sure that the manager wants to make her contact data public.
