Eric from the Green Submarine dive shop just stopped by our house, and indicated that he may be interested in selling his dive shop to the right buyer.

As I understand it, the price for the shop is US$225K, including all equipment (compressor, tanks, gear, educational supplies) and the business permit (almost impossible to get one for a dive shop on Bonaire unless you buy an existing business). The property the shop is on is going for $325K, but I understand that the property can be leased as well. Contact GS at dive@greensubmarine.com

Any idea on if the shop is profitable?

No idea, but they seem to have been expanding regularly, and last I knew, Eric was debt adverse.

Quick update. I've just learned that there may in fact some debts incurred by the dive shop, so anyone looking to purchase this business, as with any business acquisition should perform due diligence and make sure all liabilities are properly disclosed and accounted for.
