Rob and I are thankful that, during our visit in July, we were able to see you. We stopped by with Joaquin, our Hoppner House sponsor child and you & your associate helped Rob and I communicate a little with him after we had given him his new mask, fins and snorkel gifts

I tried to call the home tonight to talk to Meredith and Joaquin; no answer. His birthday is this Thursday; he will be 9!!!! Rob and I left birthday gifts for him along with some Spider Man birthday cake plates and napkins for his upcoming celebration Would you be willing/able to call and ensure he will get cake & his gifts. I'd really like to talk to you and can call you on island tomorrow?

YAY....just hung up with Marlene at Hoppner; she answered the phone this morning!!!! Asked about all the boys and our sponsor child. They will have cake tomorrow for Joaquin's 9th birthday celebration. He will also be given all the birthday gifts we left for....GOD is good and all things did fall into place.

Now I am off to continue whining for my December trip as I need to deliver more things to the boys as well as get Christmas presents there

Thanks Michael Sorry I bombarded you. I'm so happy he'll have his cake as I knew he would. Marlene was so sweet on the phone this morning; what a doll!!! She said all is well with the cake and she's going to take him shopping with a gift card we left. Weeeee this is all so good even though I'm at such a distance away!!!

Marlene asked me to call tomorrow during their party which I will do.
