I remember Bonaire in the summer as being so hot as to be 'debilitating' as another boater said.

Yet, a friend was just there for two weeks, and said the weather was mild, cooler that West Virginia where he lives.

Has there been a lot of rain lately? Cloudy days?

Mm

We just spent a month on Bonaire and there was only one cloudy day and it wasn't that cloudy. There was a lot of rain, more than normal, but that still amounts to only about 5 minutes a day. In the summer, the heat Bonaire is definitely less debilitating than WV or anywhere else in the continental U.S. East of the Rockies. In my opinion Bonaire has just about the perfect climate.
