I was wondering: if you can.t touch anything from its marvelous sea, what are crafts made of? What should we take home as a souvenir, beside our memories?

What is wrong with just taking home memories? Want something more, take some pictures/video or buy a video of your dive and relive it (along with a glass of wine, beer or alcohol as well as some gouda) as you relive the pleasure of your dives or surface activities.

There are lots of cool souvenirs that don't deplete from the ocean. How about: a donkey sanctuary coffee mug? Or a Hilma Hooker coffee mug? Or some really cool Bonaire t-shirts? Remember, you should always buy a t-shirt from the dive shop you use. Also, you could buy Captain Don's book - I think Michael at Chat-n-Browse sells it. I bought some really cool things from Michael. There are also those metal decorated fish and lizards and I even bought a bronze dolphin. Oh....and the artists on island are to die for! You could buy an original painting. There are lots of interesting things you could buy.

Someone brought a stinky conch shell on the flight home from Turks & Caicos... Well guess what the air on the plane just re-circulates ... Thank God Angela bought a nice aroma therapy candle at the spa ... yep I held it under my nose for the entire flight home! Wicked stench!

I buy hand made pottery & a hat and shirt from the dive shop of all the places I visit!

If you want to find really nice shells to take home, visit Sanibel Island Florida USA ...especially after a storm!!

How about a map of Bonaire to frame?

To heck with all the "stuff", an airlines ticket for the next trip to Bonaire is the best souvenir I have found.

You got that right, Bubba!!! Add a letter of confirmation for a room and rental truck, then plaster it on the wall. Repeat as necessary.
