Cam,

I believe Dr. Verhoef generally requires a referral from your doctor. But give his office a call--he is a miracle worker!

Alex

Cam, have you ever heard of Q-Ray? I have a friend who was having terrible pain in his hip and tried The Q-Ray bracelet and it releaved his pain in 48 hours. I met his friend and he had arthritis pain in his hands and tried Q-Ray and his pain was stoped. I got one for my wife and the pain in her legs is gone! It's worth a try and it is not expensive. With a money back guarantee... Good luck Ron

Clam, it is a common known fact that carrying your wallet in a back pocket can cause the condition you describe.

Cam... Hyperbaric treatment may be good for this as well as any arthritis you might have. Just put your tank on & drop down to 100 feet or so.. This could ameliorate you're discomfort..(no kidding). Try it..
It will AT LEAST work as well as the Q Ray referred to above! :-)
If it doesn't my advice is a few Brights and a lounger under a palm tree (walking will also help)

Cam,
If your pain gets worse when you bend backwards at the waist, get an MRI prior to going to the chiropractor. It could indicate a more severe disc problem.

Cam, does the pain go all the way down the leg or decrease around the knee? I am an orthopedic manual physical therapist and specialize in the spine. There is a PT clinic next to Sun Ocean Front Apts. that may have a traction unit/decompression unit that may give you some relief. You can also get a styrofoam noodle, put it under you arms/across the chest and "hang" in the water. This sometimes gives relief. You may need more resistance than the water can give to "decompress" the lumbar spine.
