Thanks for posting that. Does it really get crowded on cruise ship days. Where to avoid? We will have a truck.

hi marge, you'll notice more people walking in town on cruise ship days as well as more tour buses travelling the roads but it's not too bad. even when the QE2 was in it was bearable. however, about an hour before departure we've noticed a "tourist stampede" of cruise ship people walking from the plaza back to the ship. also, on cruise ship days some of the local artists and others will set up shop in willemina pleine for the day and it's fun to walk around and see their stuff.

I have lived here for over a year, I have never found that Cruise ships cause too many to be on the streets, Heck its close to being deserted most of the other times, Of course I have lived in London, NY, Atlanta and Wash DC.
