Heads up, see:

http://www.weathercarib.com/

TD5, turning into Ernesto, could affect Bonaire in the next two days, Sat and Sun.

Cheers,

Your neighbor in St croix, Melissa

Just checked out the latest advisory at the Hurricane Center. Right now they are calling for 1 to 2 inches of rain across portions of the N.A. and thats about it. Sounds like Jamaica and the Cayman Islands could possibly have a problem though. Hope not.

here's the noaa link http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/index.shtml?

they changed their website around a bit since last hurricane season so it took me a while to find the right page.

i keep telling myself that now that i don't live in FL anymore, I don't need to compulsively check the noaa site, but i do anyway....

it looks like TD 5 should be right above us but it's sunny here & not windy at all. we've had a few showers here and there the past couple days but nothing major.

TD 5 now TS Ernesto traveled to our north taking all the winds. The skies are partly cloudy, a fabulous sunset and hotter than heck. Some got a few drops of rain. We had a wind reversal and some light swell. That's it folks...

Well, gosh, lucky Bonaire! I was there two seasons on my boat, and experienced some frightful bits of weather, and no one seemed to know it was coming.

I'm very happy for you! And I bet folks are diving in droves on the East side.

Maybe it's time for me to move permanently to the Little Gem.

Cheers,

Melissa-to-the-North
