Hello, BTers, it's me again begging for some help for our animal shelter. We need Program RX for cats which is unavailable on the island. Are there any vets out there or pharmaceutical reps that can help us get some at reasonable prices? Our population is normally about 20 cats so it may be cost prohibitive for us to purchase it on the small budget we have. Donations would be greatly appreciated. Let me know....I know you guys are always willing to help! Thanks.

Hi Jane (and Jim:-)),
PM me and we can try to figure out what you need and how much. I'm heading down in 2 weeks so might be able to get some and bring it with in that amount of time!!

If there needs to be a donation to cover costs count me in. I am taking Oscar to the vets on Monday, just for booster shots; maybe I could donate the same money to the sanctuary kitties if it is needed:pic

Julia, Oscar is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! Thank you for your offer of help. As soon as I can get some info on the prices and if we can get someone to bring it, I can let you know if we need some financial assistance in obtaining it. Becky, PM'd you and look forward to your response.

We asked our vet to prescribe some ear stuff for a cat on Bonaire this April. He just prescribed it for our cat and it is on her record.

We bought it and brought it down with no problems.

It probably isn't the cheapest way and all vets might not be willing to do this - but it worked for us.

HTH - Bea

Oscar was a rescue cat, he spent his first two weeks with us behind the couch, he now makes us laugh every day. We donated about $120 for him, he was worth every cent.
