Wow! Great write up in "Undercurrent" about Bas. You're now internationally known for your knowledge of Bonaire and great East Side Diving. For those of you who don't know, "Undercurrent" is, in my opinion, the best diving periodical out there and Bas got a great write up. Man, I wish I had dived with you last December Bas. Please let me dive with you on my next trip. Okay?

Hi, Could somebody send me the message in "Undercurrent", and email addresses of people (beside Larry, which I have) who drive a boat to the North-east? I have to do a lot of research dives between 4-19 of March and would like to have all options open.

Cyn, Thank you for the link, I had the pleasure of diving the east side with him last year and it is one of our most memorable dives. Turtles, manta and stingrays, huge school of tarpon, quite a nice change from the calm side, though something of a challenge getting in and out of the water. Bringing my wife, son, and his young lady, a first time diver who I expect to be up to the challange.

Ron, isn't the "tarpon pit" the coolest thing ever? I'm assuming you did Cai

Thank you all for your congratulations. It was a very nice surprise to read. I try very hard to give everybody I dive with the best experience possible and it's very nice to see it pay off in this way. Most certainly put a smile on my face!

Cyn, yes it was Cai and it is one of the best dives I've experienced. The life is abundant and it is the only time I have ever seen a fleet of manta rays in "flying formation". The juvenile life is unique as well in the shallows. I hope to be able to go further up the coast this time if conditions permit. We usually pack light but this time we will be bring booties and strap fins as well a shortie to minimize skin scrapes. Thank you for the link.
