Could someone local please answer this question? I am trying to help someone who is coming to Bonaire soon and would really like an accurate answer. I never really noticed if they did or not as I always pay cash or credit. Thanks.

Debbie,
I have used them in the past, and other times they refused. So I think it depends who's on the Reg at the time, or I think it's when a large change back is due, they say no?

MCB is just down the street. i'd take some travellers checks there and convert to guilders then go to the store.

Cultimara has an ATM machine right outside the store. It has its own doorway. Look for that.

I have never had a problem using traveler's checks there. I do know if you have big denominations 50's 0r hundred's you might have a problem at some places. The change is usually in guilders.

I've noticed that a lot of places do not like cash (US) above $20's so if you bring $100 or $50 you may have a problem.
