Thanks for the help you've all given about everything. Now, I need some practical household advice. What kind of utensils should I bring for a month stay at the Dive Inn? Also, is cooking-ware steel, or aluminum and plastic. Do all the kitchens have a microwave? I'm not going to do a lot of cooking, but, restaurants don't generally offer the kind of meals I prefer. I'll need large glass containers to mix powdered and thick shakes. I'm leaving here on the 27th, so any advice, on ANYTHING Bonaire is welcome. Thanks

Ruth, No micowave at the Dive Inn, The cook ware is mixed. Bring a non-stick fry pan, the furnished ones are scratched. Plastic tools for cooking. Metal silverware, good can opener, service for 4 people, dishclothes and towels. Large pitcher for cool drinks, wine glasses, coffee cups, juice glasses, soup and salid bowls and water glasses are furnished. Bring salt and pepper, pack a couple of empty water bottles,(the tap water is great), so you can cool some water when you get there. The reffer(camper size) has a small freezer. Bring bug spray, First aid kit, Pack some snack bars and eat one before diving! Don't run out of gas at deapth! The most important thing is have a good time!!

The cooking utensils were adaquate but not what we were used to. The biggest thing I missed was no toaster. I had to toast in a pan. Bring your own pan and egg flipper and a stove-top camping toaster. I love the Dive Inn. So close to everything and Babs and staff are great.
